Remember!  If you accept a field trip to another station; be compliant with procedure involving the shipment of all parts and support equipment.  There may be hazardous materials, shipping paperwork required, or shipment procedures that if not done properly could get you fined by Customs, the DOT or the FAA.  It’s best to leave parts or equipment, used or unused, for your brothers and sisters in Stores to handle.

My message to you is please check with a Shop Steward or a member of the Executive Board with questions pertaining to bankruptcy. There has been numerous supposals over the last week many of them not even that, but, misinformation instead.

Final Budget Cutting Vote Coming Up - Call your legislator today!

     Reports from the state capitol in Austin indicate that negotiators are nearing a budget agreement that will cut BILLIONS of dollars to public schools, hospitals, public safety and critical state jobs. 

     The agreement will require a majority of state legislators’ approval in the next few days, including your own state representative’s and senator’s vote.   Your legislators should not be on the wrong side of a vote imposing unnecessary budget cuts to kids and the elderly, especially when at least $6 billion will be left unspent in the Rainy Day Fund!

     Leave a phone message with their staff: Please vote NO on any budget proposal as long as it includes cuts while leaving money on the table.
